underwater cases are very expensive, this was not and i was very trepiditious about taking it under the waves. however i took it under without the camera 3 times just to be sure. it did not leak down to 30 mtrs. over the next few weeks i used it quite a lot, true you cant use all the functions (manual focus is one of them) but that is probably what makes the nauticam and subal ones so expensive. itsd just a badge job by the way the case is available under many different names all over ebay, i went for a polaroid one so i could have the company's back up if needed. it has made me realise that the gf2 is one super little camera and i want the other functions so i will get one of the expensive ones in due course. but one can get the gf2 for as little as 100 quid these days with this case you can have a underwater camera for a fraction of the cost of an SLR set up and believe me the photos are just as good. and with out the worry of drowning k's worth of camera. i glued a 62 mm ring to the front and had an instant way of screwing filters and macro filters to it. also one trick i got from a professional put the o rings in completely dry, i clean mine with alco wipes the air dry then double check for debris then close and leave. never ever had a leak in 5 years of uw photography.(Read more)
